NEW ORLEANS – The Delgado Community College City Park Campus will host an evening with Paula Williams Madison, author of the acclaimed memoir “Finding Samuel Lowe: China, Jamaica, Harlem,” on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., at Isaac Delgado Hall, 615 City Park Ave. in New Orleans.
The evening will include a screening of the documentary film that complements the book, a talk by the author and a book-signing.
This will be the first event to take place in the newly rebuilt and refurbished Delgado Theater inside Isaac Delgado Hall, and it is the theater’s official Grand Opening. The event will also serve as the kick-off event for National Diversity Month at Delgado Community College.
